The two links above represent some stories you may want to checkout. The first one is about Pam Grier and her new book about her life. The wild story she told is that her doctor talked about a cocaine buildup in her vagina. Pam says she didnt do drugs but she was having unprotected sex with Richard Pryor at the time. So her boyfriend Richard(I didnt know he dated her)had so much cocaine in his semen that it was leaving residue and he was also rubbing this expensive coke on his penis to stay erect. You guys wont complain about the price of your ED medicine anymore after hearing that story.
When I hear about couples who dated but didnt marry like John Tesh and Oprah,Jim Brown and Raquel Welch and now Pam and Richard I wonder how their careers would have been different if they chose to get married. Oprah especially would have been different because she has never been married before.
The second link is about the controversy over Myron Rolle dropping in the draft because he is considered to smart for the NFL. Clay Travis does a great job of explaining how dumb this idea is. Steve Young became a lawyer while he played for the 49ers even though most of it was done as a backup. Another draft pick one year chose to stay home and fish with his dad instead of going to the draft he was picked in the first round. Travis talked about how the NFL wants dumb players who only care about playing football and not outside interests. The NFL has no guaranteed contracts for a sport that is the most violent and profitable in the world. The players union is a joke and the NFL might as well not have a union like Walmart.
Rolle is a Rhodes Scholar who wants to be a doctor when his NFL career is over. Players who go to jail dont get picked apart like Rolle was by the NFL experts. The execs and coaches were not used to sitting in a room with a player who uses words they cant define and his intelligence intimidates them and they are too much of cowards to admit it. The biggest shock to me was the rumor that Tony Dungy of all people was on the side of Rolles critics. Dungy has helped Mike Vick get back into the NFL and other players who commited crimes and did bad things but if its true that Tony has a problem with a Rhodes Scholar playing football and questions his commitment level. I would lose alot of respect for Tony Dungy if that is true. Jemele Hill put it best when she said that Rolle just like Dungy knew he was destined for greater things in the ministry beyond football, Rolle is destined to open a clinic and help others through medicine. I couldnt find the negative comments from Dungy online so I hope it is not true.
The good news is the team who drafted Rolle is my titans so i get to root him on 8 times a year in person. I should get to meet him and the other players this summer and I will let him know how much I support what he wants to do on and off the field.
The titans had a good draft I would give it a B+ or A-. They addressed every need position but Fisher didnt get enough for Lendale White in my opinion and he drafted players from Montana and that is the team his son plays for. If you had any doubt that this was a favor and inside job, Fishers son actually called to tell one of the players he was just drafted. Fishers son isnt a titans employee so he should not have made that call. It was unprofessional and Goodell could have fined them but he has his hands full with Big Ben and morons in the front office of the dolphins asking Dez Bryant if his mother was a a prostitute. If Bryant had punched that guy in the eye I would have started a defense fund for Dez. What does Bryants mother beinga prostitute,stripper or whatever have to do with running down the field and blocking or catching a pass? Hire a detective to get information about a persons legal problems or their families problems but asking a disgusting question like that to a mans face should be enough to get a man fired in the NFL. The bucs asked Myron Rolle how it felt to desert his team when he left to go to study at Oxford for a year and now the Dolphins front office is asking dumb questions too. Most NFL fans will be cheering for both of those florida teams to stink it up this year as Karma. I know the jags are in florida too but you dont have to root for them to lose they will just do that anyway while they wait to move to LA in a few years.
The powerball is 30 million tonight and the megamillions is an amazing 224 million for fridays drawing so get your tickets if thats your thing. The powerball is low because it was won last thursday but Chris Shaw in Missouri. Shaw is 29 and he has 3 kids by two women and he lives with a woman who has 2 kids so he could really use the money. Most people have focused on the fact that he has his 2 front teeth missing but with the 258 million he won he can pay a man to chew up his food for him now. He didnt say he will buy new teeth and take all 5 kids to disneyland. So congratulations to him and his family.

Dhani
Dhani tackles the globe was good last night so make sure you catch the rest of the season. Shyne dissed 50 cent again. Shyne sounds really different now. I dont know if Shyne was faking his Biggie voice just to get signed to Bad Boy or if something actually happened to his voice in prison. Shyne gets alot of respect from rappers for doing his time and not snitching but his lyrics and energy better pick up if he wants to sell alot of records.
Roethlisberger is supposed to be suspended by Goodell soon. I am surprised that Goodell is doing this but no one can accuse him of racism after he finally comes down this hard on a popular white player. Jared Allen was recorded almost fighting a guy in bar over his future wife. Allen almost drank himself out of the NFL so to be caught in a bar and almost fighting was really dumb. Jared should let his spouse go to bars with her friends so he can avoid those temptations to drink and fight. If a guy can bait him into punching or shooting at him then a civil case wont be far behind. Roethlisberger accusers may be after money too but there is way too much smoke with Big Ben for none of the incidents to be true. A civil case isnt always like a lottery win because you still have to actually prove it and win the case.
Speaking of the lottery the powerball is 252 million for wednesday and the megamillions is 142 million for tonight. Hang in there and maybe its your week to win.

Peabody
Good news and Bad news for Boondocks fans. The good news is the Boondocks won the Peabody award. The show is great on so many levels and I am happy they are being recognized. The bad news is the 3rd season that start may 2nd will be the last season. The fans can only hope another network lures them away for enough money to make a 4th season or maybe they will do some Boondocks movies.

Easter
Happy Easter to those of you who celebrate that. The pope had alot of controversy around Easter. I dont understand how covering up and moving around child molestors is ok with the Pope but when the President is invited to speak at Notre Dame its a problem because he supports a womans right to choose. Clergy who molest isnt a lifestyle choice or a quirk they are criminals like any other sicko and they need to be arrested and charged.
Donovan McNabb was traded on Easter from the Eagles to the Redskins. The Titans play both teams this season so this is a big story on many levels. Andy"Drug Emporium"Reid said he did it as a favor to McNabb instead of sending him to awful teams like the Bills or Raiders. Trading McNabb in the division is a real slap in the face because that means the Eagles see him as washed up and no threat.
I saw the trailer for "Lottery Ticket" and it looks entertaining. Bow Wow,Mike Epps,Loretta Devine,Ice Cube,Teara"getting thick very slowly"Marie and Bill Bellamy are some of the stars. I will see the movie just based on the lottery being involved but it looks like a funny movie and Mike Epps and Ice Cube were in another Lottery Movie "All About The Benjamins" and it was cool. Of course Eva Mendes looking really good helped alot too. Bill Bellamy has fallen off a little bit. He was on pace to be the next Will Smith type of comedy/action tv/movie go to guy but now he looks like he has a very small role in this movie.

He rejects the notion that you need to win the lottery to be truly happy so he burns tickets that he bought on camera. It looks insane because right now the megamillions is 76 million and the powerball is 125 million so he is risking burning millions. The smart thing he does is point out that the odds are so bad that if after the drawing you didnt win anything, you may as well have burned the tickets or not played at all.
T Pain and Terry Crews were also in the trailer for Lottery Ticket. I was just reminded of that because Terry Crews is in some weird Body Wash commercial I think for Old Spice. I see Terry in reruns of Everybody Hates Chris so between that and his reality show maybe he will get offered more roles in big movies. I think the commercial was more of a money situation than actually trying to get his face out there.

For Your Health
Im trying to recover from my dead brackets like most of you. Tennessees men team has a chance to make the Final Four today and the womens team was beaten by Baylor. The same player who threw the haymaker for Baylor near the end of the regular season, helped Baylor knock Pat and the girls out of the tournament. ESPN,CBS,SOBE and even Yahoo have no perfect brackets left out of millions of entries so its not easy to win the millions and now everyone is waiting for next year to try again.
Speaking of Tennessee a man ran a car off the road here because they had an Obama bumper sticker. The victim had his 10 year old daughter in the backseat so it was really scary for them. The healthcare bill has sent tempers to a fever pitch but just like smart rappers keep it on wax, political debates shouldnt get physical like this.
The new Erykah Badu video "Window Seat" is a classic video for a great song so check it out and buy her album in 2 days. I dont want to ruin any suprises in the video for anyone so I cant comment on much but I will say Common and Dre 3000 had a reason to get sprung.

March Madness
March Madness is upon us and the sites offering a million dollars for a perfect bracket are Yahoo and Foxsports. That will be paid out over 40 years but add that to what you normally make a year and its a party. So dont be afraid to sign up and normally people who nothing about basketball do the best so try it out. ESPN and CBSSPORTS have 10grand contests for a perfect bracket because they are too afraid to offer a million just in case you get lucky and pick all the games right. The powerball is up to 200 million for saturday so you may want to donate a dollar to that as well because who the hell knows what may happen so why not.
Torii Hunter talked about how there are less blacks in baseball and he thinks no one complains because they count the latin players with the black players as minorities. Torii said it was cheaper to scout latin players instead of building inner city programs in america and baseball fields which is all true. Tony Kornheiser fresh off his suspension for running his mouth too much called Torii Hunters comments racist. Kornheiser took up for Mike Goldberg calling Dr. King a racial slur,Bruce Pearl joking about the KKK and tonys own racist comments heard off air of his radio show talking to a black staff member but now out of all those people he thinks Hunter is the only one who said something racist. Tony will talk himself out of a tv job as soon as they can find someone who gets the ratings he does. Tony can stay on radio forever because they dont really care what you say on there. Even Imus eventually got another job on radio making more money.
Allen Iversons wife filed for divorce and Stephen A Smith felt the need to tell the world that Iverson has a gambling and drinking problem. Ben Roethlisberger is catching another sexual assault charge this time in georgia. Tiger Woods is making preparations to play his first tournament of the year in a few weeks and may even play in the Masters. Woods hired Ari Fleischer for some strange reason. Woods only hires people suggested by IMG but between Mark McGwire,GW Bush and the BCS I dont see Ari has having been really successful at improving any of their images. Ari seems really average at his job and Tiger needs the best of the best PR people working on defusing this timebomb of his. On a completely unrelated note they now say chewing causes wrinkles and loose skin around your mouth. That means I will look like droopy dog in a few years as much as I like to eat.

Es Verdad
Free Agency starts at midnight tonight for the NFL. There is no salary cap so Bud Adams can spend like the Yankees if he wants to and buy a title but that wont happen. Jerry Jones spent so much on his stadium that I cant see him going crazy with money either. Dan Snyder will be the dream owner this offseason making it rain money on athletes left and right. The titans dont think they need a wide receiver like brandon marshall or boldin but trust me they do.
John Mayers ex girlfriend Jessica Simpson was on Oprah and said she was disappointed by Mayers comments about sex with her being like a drug. Jessica like most younger pop singers try to portray an innocent look so she told the world she was a virgin when she got married. Mayer who she never married talking about fornicating with her made her mad because it hurts her image that she doesnt have sex unless she is married to the guy. There were rumors she cheated on her husband but Nick could careless about that now, he is just happy to be free with a chance to find his partner.
Mike Wilbon cursed out a fellow writer because the guy said he name drops celebrities. So if you are keeping track at home Hannah Storm doesnt like it when you say she is 50 but dresses 20,Chris Berman doesnt like it when you call him fat and Mike Wilbon doesnt like it when you say he name drops celebrities he knows so basically no one at ESPN likes when you tell them the truth about themselves.
I saw Americans Greed on CNBC about the grandmothers who killed homeless men and collected life insurance on them in california. One grandmother had a book about sociopaths on her coffee table and she fit the profile of not having a conscience. They pretend to be sorry just so they can avoid more jailtime but true sociopaths never have regret. Since 1 in 25 ordinary Americans is a sociopath then you have to be careful out there. There are so many people walking about who dont have a conscience that they can cheat on you,rob you or even kill you without ever losing any sleep over it. Not having any guilt for anything you do sounds impossible but it is true and be aware of any signs that you know someone like this. Most doctors have to admit that sociopaths cant be reformed.
On a much more upbeat note, dream on dreamers because the powerball for saturday is 139 million dollars and megamillions for friday is 133 million dollars. Get your tickets post haste folks.
